ABOUT ME
I am a human, not a robot. I am a professional geek. I am an entrepreneur, and an opportunist who loves to take on a challenge. I pride myself on being honest with myself, my family and everyone around me. I have a huge love for my fur babies (my dogs), they don’t ask questions and they understand everything about me. There is nothing better than a good game of “chuck it” and guaranteed laughter each and everyday. Coffee and listening to Celine Dion is a MUST to start my day. I am also a firm believer in maintaining a work and family balance. I have decided to downsize, sell everything I own (including my house of 11 years) to focus on my health and be able to afford and continue down the all natural journey I decided to begin after being diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in December of 2015. I am determined to live a healthier life style and heal. I have incorporated things such as Young Living Essential oils, home made natural body care products, and other all natural infused products into my every day routine. I have changed my diet to a whole plant based diet which includes lots of juicing, vegan recipes, etc. and have incorporated many other natural remedies into my treatment plan.
I am custom building THE SKOOLY into a full-time mobile home, with bath, shower, solar, and water. I will be traveling with my dogs throughout North & Central America to continue my journey down the natural path of healing and stopping at wellness centers along the way. My goal is to bring awareness to the things that I feel strongly about which to name a few are having a voice for your choice of treatment and knowing that there are other options available for those of us who have received a cancer diagnosis, to bring awareness to the financial hardships that stay with the patients and patients family during and after a life changing diagnosis, sharing information for organizations that give back to patients, and searching for charitable causes, cleaning our natural environments, and meeting people along the way.
I will be working remotely and hopefully helping others along the way, but I can’t do it without the kindness of others. If you have a cause I can be a part of, or something you think I can help bring awareness to, please let me know. Also, any and all Donations will be used to keep me on the road with the promise of continuing my natural treatments and health journey as well as, helping the communities and any others wherever I possibly can. I plan to document my entire journey and to capture life’s moments through pictures, video and real life scenarios along the entire journey. I am motivated and the type of person that if you tell me I can’t do something, I will prove you wrong. If you ask me for my opinion, expect an honest answer. I am sweet, I promise.
